Travels With My Other Self is my reworking of the book Travels With Myself and Another by Martha Gellhorn, an American novelist, journalist, and travel writer. I first picked up her book when I was traveling for an artist’s residency in Wyoming, and I discovered that she wrote about many of the places that helped form me, where I discovered something in myself. She had gone to so many of the same places, which I found intriguing because we were two women traveling way off the beaten path.
